Point Reyes Station Inn was designed and built by Ralph Giacomini, with the help of his father and son. Together, three generations transformed an empty field into lush gardens and the Inn, which has welcomed guests to Point Reyes since 1996. In the Great Room, you can see photos of the family working together to build and erect the wooden frame of the two story Inn.
Ralph was born and raised on Giacomini Ranch, three miles north of Olema, where he continues to raise cattle. He and his family have deep roots in the agricultural heritage of West Marin, and the communities strung along the coast and bay.
